Wendy was a landscape architect, master gardner, conservationist and much loved member of this community. She had a hand in planting the seeds that became the Hillsborough Riverwalk. The Riverwalk bridge at Nash and Kollock Street is named The Wendy Olson and Charles Burger Bridge after two of Hillsborough’s strongest advocates for transforming Hillsborough into a walkable town.
